August Update

Along with the Rickenbacker 12 String below August saw these additions to the collection

Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop 57 Journeyman Relic, Fender Telecaster 1973 Deluxe, Gibson 335 Custom shop ES and a Black SG Standard

After having one of these requested for previous sessions (and having to humbly borrow one from Brad Shepherd (Hoodoo Gurus) we figured when the right one came up we’d better grab it. So here is the DG’s  Rickenbacker 330-12 V64 string. This is the model made famous by The Byrds, The Beatles and many other 60’s and 70’s artists and it sounds just like it should.

The second score was a Guild Starfire II Bass (1973) made famous from the mid 1960’s onwards with bassist’s Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead, as well as Jefferson Airplane’s bassist Jack Casady using the Guild both in the studio and on the road.
