Kayne Butler Live SSL Mixdown

Marshall Cullen to use his live sound skills to mix it like a live show mix. The tracks were fed out of pro Tools into the SSL and old school outboard and FX were added. The only plugins were some drum gates (just like a live mix). The final mix was run through the SSL Bus compressor at the end of the chain. Live fader moves and delay return muting between the songs were in place just like running a live show. The entire thing was done in 2 hours and it came up a treat – spill on the vocal mics ? – big deal! Ably assisted by Olivia Ross Adams.
