With only 6 hours to record, Eamon Smith and the Prime Minister band where able to live track two great sounding songs with time to spare. They were amazing to work with as the band plays together effortlessly. They had such great energy and charisma while recording their tracks. We used the Bassman head and the Ampeg cab to capture an awesome distorted bass tone. The 60’s Fender Bassman is more traditionally used for awesome guitar sounds into it’s signature ‘duo’ cab but in this instance it was the perfect combination by changing the cab to a 15″ bass box. Plus we used the Vox AC30(1964) and a Marshall Quad(1975) for the other two guitars which sounded amazing.
