Self described as a meeting of Amy Winehouse and Paramore this band were really after classic sounds with lots of space around them. This was another of Murray Dilger’s projects just squeezed in before Andrew Beck’s return in the form of female fronted Central Coast band Snakeoil produced by bass player Riley. The Ludwig kit with Reslo Room Mic’s was ideal for drums and the guitars were treated after the tracking. Outstanding ‘in control room’ guide vocals on an SM7 through an Ampex 351 Tube Pre really held the vibe right from the get go and it went very smoothly. A quick set up using all the SSL Mic pre’s also kept the workflow fast as they were on limited time and Murray brought in James Bryer to assist.
