Analog Mixing Day

Our In-House engineer Murray Dilger spent the day using the array of analog outboard gear we have available at Damien Gerards. Murray was able to create a great sounding compressed overhead sound for the drums in the mix by utilising the LA-2A. He also ran the entire mix through our SSL origin’s bus compressor. Being able to spread the entire mix out over the 24 faders made making small level changes extremely easy and organic. It’s Great to see analog mixing still occurring and not all just done through computer software and plugins.
