Spy V Spy Overdubs

With the band’s tracking for the new album completed late last year, these sessions were all about overdubs. Guitars were the first thing to address and we used a combination of the bands own Fender Vibro King plus our Fender bassman and Andrew Beck’s (engineer) Leslie cabinet. The guitar mics were – Royer R121, Sennheaiser MD409 and a stereo pair of Beyer MC930’s on the Leslie. Percussion including Didge and Congas, vocals and sound fx followed and mixing has begun on two of the songs in the 3 day weekend sessions. The boys will be back soon to finish mixing, stay tuned….
